Nominally a wine bar, they do pour a pint from the usual stalwarts (includes Courage Best and Director). So if you want a pint and your friend wants a nice glass (bottle) of wine, you could do worse. Unfortunately, nothing against the helpful, attentive staff, but the atmosphere can be marred by the pretentious city wannabes who seem to flock here.
