Walkabout, Temple
FancyaPint?'s review...
Unfortunately, this fits the mould of all the others - huge, cavernous room with lots of sport on telly and lager, lager, lager for the Antipodean masses. When there's any volume of people in here, it's almost impossible to carry on a conversation without shouting down your companion's lug hole. Frankly, if you've been to one of these places before, you'll know what you're in for, and it's not pretty. It was very tempting to make it a zero pinter, but the addition of Speight's Golden Ale to their pumps pulled them back from the brink. One to avoid unless you like this sort of thing -but then that's just me being a bit sniffy - for sporting events and in particular rugby as well as other events Antipodean - this is the place to be on Embankment!
