We don't often visit these halls to Aussie drinking, for reasons too numerous to mention. And sadly, this example in central London seems to exemplify all those issues, namely being overpriced, loud and not very pleasant. We probably will not be returning any time soon. We don't think they will miss us.

From Covent Garden: turn right and walk towards the market, when you get to the market turn right again. Turn left and walk down the road in front of the church, walk a little way down Southampton Street then turn right into Maiden Lane. The pub is a short way along on your right. From Charing Cross: Leave the station by the main entrance in the Strand and cross over. Turn right and the left up Biddeford Street, take the next left along Maiden Lane. The pub is a short walk along on your left.
