White Hart, New Cross
FancyaPint?'s review...
There has been a pub on this junction for some time, as the old photographs inside attest. Though a giant sign no longer advertises 'LUNCHEONSBILLIARDS', the White Hart manages to accommodate a mixed crowd of locals, students and people on their way somewhere else. Karaoke nights and the ubiquitous big TV screen nail the pub's colours to the mast, and with Guinness at 1.75 a pint, the place's popularity is obvious. Pool players will love the table in the dark back room too.
