It's a pity that this old boozer, which looks and smells like a trad pub, complete with a separate bed-and-breakfast wing (liberally decorated externally with St. George's crosses), now finds itself located between a busy roundabout and several well 'ard places. Its also a shame that despite being a Fullers pub, no real ales are sold, so we had to do with the inferior keg Chiswick. There are two bars and a choice of-spacious and well-kept outdoor drinking areas. The rear garden boasts a wall of 16 TV screens for sports events, to which admittance fees are sometimes charged to non-regulars. We reckon it could get pretty lairy when its busy, but when it's quiet service is competent and friendly, even if some regulars seemed unhappy (or possibly just surprised) to see strangers on their patch.
