Small pub that's been given a pale wood makeover. Fear not though, as this isn't a bland All Bar One intrusion into the East End heartlands. Very much the sort of bantering backstreet boozer you'd imagine to find in these parts, where chaps of a certain age practise their one-liners and have a flutter on the nags. From our evidence newcomers to the pub are tolerated rather than welcomed, though you could do a lot worse in these parts.
