White Swan, Fleet Street
FancyaPint?'s review...
Done up recently (it probably needed it) as it was looking a bit tired and old pubby. It's now much more inviting with comfortable tables and chairs, ow-level lighting and candles and flowers on the tables. It's popular with local office types at lunchtime (particularly ladies what lunch) and it's hardly surprising with good food and reasonable prices. The beer's good as is the wine list, and okay, only two taps, but it's good stuff. And the staff are friendly and accommodating, or at least they were on our last visit. Frankly, it's a turn up for the books and now makes it worth making a trip to go to, rather than just dropping in if you're in the area.

What a great friendly pub! It may not look like much from the outside, but the new owners have done a great job on the inside with a really good menu. I personally like to be able to pop into a pub at lunchtime for a sandwich that doesn't cost the earth and isn't wrapped in plastic! The downstairs looks like it would be great for parties so I'll definitely be back for more.
