What with a bar, lounge, restaurant, conservatory and plenty of tables outside, there's enough room here for anyone who ambles in from Clapham Common - though you might be forgiven for thinking that you need at least two children to live in the area, particularly on a sunny Sunday afternoon. It can feel a bit dead inside when everyone's out on the terrace or on the Common. That said, all the bars were five deep last time we were in on a warm day and the staff didn't seem able to cope with the demand. The car park right next to the beer garden can give the place the feel of a midlands travel tavern. Those criticisms aside, usual Young's fare and regular guest beers is on offer and it can be a handy meeting place before heading elsewhere. The menu is extensive and in line with prices in the area - slightly pricey, if you must ask. If you're dying of thirst, we wouldn't recommend it on a hot day, but if you catch it on a quieter day, it's a good place to soak up the sun with a pint.
