Windsor Castle, Paddington
FancyaPint?'s review...
A fine little pub that's well worth a look. It's an ideal place for a drink and a chat, with a very convivial landlord if you're lucky enough to find him behind the bar. The interior is festooned with Kiwi ephemera like maps and All Blacks shirts, and this connection is reflected by the clientele; the pub seems to attract the quieterless obtrusive type of antipodean, however. The beer was well kept, the fire in the corner a welcome treat, and the original artworks intriguing. The seats and carpets are pretty worn out but unless you're a fetishist for cleanliness, this won't detract from the charm of this place. One visit here and you'll likely be back again.
