Woolpack, Bermondsey
FancyaPint?'s review...
Another pub in the area to have a bit of a makeover. At least they didn't alter the lovely tiled interior, although the new, modern bar at the front feels a bit like being in McDonalds albeit with perky young barstaff and lots of lagers. It has got decent Cask Marque beer on the taps, seems to be a haven for pretty young things from the surrounding area. While it's still got bits of a traditional pub, at the end of the day it's very modern. A decent alternative to the resto-pub across the way, but we have to say we felt a bit old.

Worst roast i have ever eaten!!!!!!
Seven of us ate here today and all had similar problems. Veg cold, cauliflower that looked dirty, yorkshire puds colder than outside - how is that possible. Potatoes not cooked on inside and one slice of average grade beef all for £13. Complained to the girl who brought our food and she was very apologetic and they refunded our money - did not warrant an appearance from the manager although we asked to speak to him. All well and good refunding our money, but being served food that bad ruined our Sunday afternoon. We definitely will not be back!
