Zetland Arms, South Kensington
FancyaPint?'s review...
Although the Zetland Arms is a Victorian pub is in the very heart of a very touristy area, it's not just for tourists - it also caters very well for locals and, in particular, sports fans. There are screens scattered around the place and big televised sporting events can draw correspondingly big crowds. And it does a pretty decent job of looking after tourists, with food - unpretentious, honest pub grub - available most of the time (part of the upstairs focuses on dining, but you can eat anywhere) and it offers a reasonable range of well kept Cask Marque beers with which to wash it all down. The service is fast and friendly and it's almost always busy, so it's probably not the place for a cosy pint and the crossword - if that's what you're after, but the Zetland Arms is usually a handy place to meet in and watch the big match.
