The Bell, Maidenhead
FancyaPint?'s review...
We were pleasantly surprised by the Bell. Having come out of a meeting at a well-known mobile phone company across the road my colleagues and I sought refuge from the snow. This was it. First impressions were decidedly not good given the smoking area out the front that looked a bit ramshackle, but inside the pub was decidedly nice. Six pool tables, friendly staff and some good music being played too - this is the only pub I have ever been to that has played some Leonard Cohen over the PA. We'd rate this pub even higher if there was more choice available at the bar for bitter drinkers.
