A beautiful pub, this one seeps history. There are sumptuous furnishings, shiny copper bar surfaces, wood panelling; the works. Even a back-bar 'ticket window' to order your beer or whisky through. And what a range to choose from: hundreds of single malts and at least five real ales. There are various rooms to choose from arranged around the main central bar and an outdoor drinking area. With so much that is mature, it is no wonder that the majority of drinkers are in their 30s and older, although there is some passing trade. Well worth a visit and we can heartily recommend it to all.
