This is one of Wetherspoon's larger bars - so there's plenty of room and soft furnishings and large screen tellys. There are the normal guest beers on numerous pumps, but still at reasonable prices and lots of bottled beers to choose from. It used to be quiet enough during the day, but last time we were in, there were lots of people out for their lunch. We suspect it gets busy at night, as it's located between a club, a casino and a Travel Inn. It's also open until midnight every night and 1.00am on Friday and Saturday. We can't complain about it, as it does what it says on the tin, but it's not one you'd go out of your way for.

From Manchester Oxford Road: leave the station, turn right and right again into Whitworth Street West. When you get to Oxford Street turn left and the pub is across the road. From Manchester Piccadilly: Take the Fairfield Street exit from the station and proceed down Fairfield Street until you reach Whitworth Street. Bear left down Whitworth and carry on until you reach Oxford Street. Turn right onto Oxford Street and the pub is ahead on the corner with of Portland Street.
