Overview

Drive ¾ of a mile up the hill out of Marlow and you will come across our little, old, whitewashed pub in the village of Bovingdon Green.  With sprawling gardens, a petanque piste and a sunny terrace speak volumes about how well loved and well looked after this place is.

Inside is at once both spacious and cosy. You’ll find a snug with wood burning stove, a rosy red dining room and glowing dark floorboards.

Our imaginative British food is consistently a big draw. We use fresh, seasonal and local produce. We serve everything from great local beer (Rebellion Brewery in Marlow Bottom) to pudding wines, with lots of choice in between. So if you’re looking for grown-up time to yourselves, the chance to loose your kids in our garden or sustenance after a long walk with the dog, a warm welcome awaits.
