The Nag's Head could be described as an (almost) fully rounded village pub. It has everything you might hope for - friendly staff, real ales, pretty beer garden, pool table, darts and decent-looking pub grub. The interior is relatively unmolested and has a decent olde worlde feel to it, save for the footy showing in the side room. Shame then that there was a general lack of custom on our late Sunday afternoon visit, with only a small scattering of regulars there to create the atmosphere. Perhaps it picks up in the evening. Also despite the Ridley's signage outside, this is a Greene King pub through and through - expect only insipid Green King brews on offer. If you find yourself travelling through Moreton, pop in for a respite.
