Decent selection of well-kept ales, and a few lesser-known but decent Czech lagers (though I stick to the ales), friendly staff, and some great food. The Sunday Roast is very filling. They have quite a lot of events on mid-week round the back, but you can alsways have a quiet pint and a chat at the bar and outside. You might even get to see the occassional Sunday night arm-wrestle with Mick the Builder.
