Bush, Newcastle-under-Lyme
FancyaPint?'s review...
We visited on a quiet night and first impressions were dominated by the ear-splittingly loud music. But this was soon reduced in volume as the bar staff realised it was too much and then began a great visit.
We were given tasters and recommendations on the ales - which goes a huge way to develop regulars out of one-off users - and went for a locally sourced brew although Bombardier and a couple of Caledonian beers were on. Food is trad pub grub but really good and good sized portions - excellent for fatties like us.
The best bit was the atmosphere though and although it might not be everyone's cup of tea both the punters and the staff were really friendly and up for a good time. Plenty going on makes this a good bet for any night of the week - sadly we had to move on, but if in the area again will come back. Many thanks.
