Technically a diner, this hidden away place does actually serve pints so we figure its worthy of a review. This is particularly brought into focus when you consider the other nearby pubs really aren't up to much. Down an alleyway close to the end of the pedestrianised shopping street, it has given a vague stab at looking like an American diner, with giant New York skyline prints and cosy booth-style seating. It doesn't quite pull it off, but it's still a pleasant environment to spend you time. To accompany our lagers we enjoyed a couple of tasty club sandwiches which were delivered by fast and friendly staff. Although we ate here, we can't see them objecting to just ordering a couple of drinks and perhaps sitting in the pleasant courtyard area out the front.
