The Lincolnshire Poacher, Nottingham
FancyaPint?'s review...
Excellent food and beer, and great choice of both; an easy walk from the city centre: yes, we'd say it's a winner. Of course the real ale fans love it, but this place acts as something of a magnet for the discerning drinker, largely because of the care and attention given to the stuff they serve. It's a good place to loiter of an afternoon, but can get packed in the evenings. But it's well worth the walk up Mansfield Road away from the sometimes questionable appeal of the city centre joints if you want a good pint in convivial surroundings. And you do, don't you?
