A rather old-fashioned, agreeable, smart ivy-covered inn, by the riverfront, the Ship is a real asset to the very attractive water-facing village of Reedham. It caters to tourists (moorings very nearby) and, mostly more mature locals alike, while lovers of ale, wine or whisky should all find their appetites sated. Lots of photos of Reedham-and elsewhere in Norfolk-provide some visual interest on the walls. If you're bored inside, there's a smart beer garden facing the river outside, although it could get pretty noisy when the railway swing bridge adjacent opens and closes. There is a separate room for meals, and the whole place is very well cared-for. Definitely warrants a visit should you be in the area.

There are moorings outside, and the pub is located very close to a three-way junction of waterways, meaning easy water access from the west, south-east or north-east. If you come by train, Reedham station is a 15-minute walk or so away.
