The Forum literally has it all - shops, bar, café, music events - it's a one-block microcosm of Sheffield City Centre, perhaps for some people the only city-centre destination they'd need. However, most of these activities fall outside of fancyapint.com's remit, so let's just concentrate on the drinking. Well, the Forum café might be a trendy urban bar, replete with shiny beer pumps - dispensing Star, Stella, Bock, Leffe, Hoegaarden etc - and plenty of wines, spirits and cocktails, but it does have 6X on a hand pump amongst them. Displaced Camra representatives need not feel neglected. The service is OK and during the day, there's an understandable emphasis on refreshment, but in the evening, things get a touch more sophisticated and a more liquid style of consumption accompanies the many and varied events that are to be experienced here. The Forum's a handy meeting spot for many out on the town, but with so much going on here, you might not want to continue elsewhere.
