This is at the top end of Shepperton, away from the traditional centre and those studios, almost next to the only train station in Shepperton. As pubs next to stations go, this one's not bad - decent beer, friendly staff, inexpensive traditional pub food and two seconds from the station. We suspect it gets more raucous at night, as the advertised karaoke night seemed to promise. There's two pool tables in the back and a dart board to keep idle hands busy, and pleasant-enough locals. You could do far worse while waiting for that train.

The age policy here has reached new heights as it is being re-developed as a Sheltered Housing Scheme (April 2012). If you're looking for a drink and Sanatagen is your favourite tipple, then this could be for you. Otherwise, I believe Wayne Rooney will be at the opening.... I'll go now, but please note this place is no more as a a public house.
