A warm welcome awaits you at The Croft from Lynne & the Team. Come and try our relaxing ambience in great surroundings. The children will be happy here and so it's not surprising that you will be relaxed as well. Eat breakfast til 12 noon, then lunch til 6pm and dinner thereafter. Wood burning stoves to sit in front of in the winter add to the best atmosphere in Hythe. Bouncy castle and playframe in the summer. Check our events schedules in the pub for family fun. Detailed Description

The Croft was refurbished in May 2010 and is a Multi Generational Gastro pub offering, where possible, homemade and home cooked pub and dining food! It has 4 defined areas: conservatory style restaurant, inner snug bar, a lounge bar and flexible function room. There is a large children's play frame, suitable for toddlers to teens with a bouncy castle daily in the summer (weather permitting). The Pub is located on the border of The New Forest and is in the picturesque Village of Hythe, which fronts Southampton water where you can see the cruise liners berthed up daily. There is plenty of parking. The landlady and team at the pub are proud of their pub with its excellent service, fresh food, clean interior + exterior. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting at all levels, and the whole family are welcome, so don’t forget to bring the grandparents for a treat! It is advisable to book on a Saturday night as Jazz by Ron Ager can be enjoyed while dining. Our Sunday roast is the best in the area, come and try it for yourselves, booking advised. Wednesdays are Quiz nights, and fun for all ages. There are many summer events which can be enjoyed, including: A Beer Festival, Barn Dance and Summer Ball! The ambiance is relaxing and it’s truly a place for the whole family to enjoy! Parents say ‘The children are happy, so we are happy!’ In the winter you can sit in front of one of our two wood burning stoves from morning until 11.30pm daily! These fires are a Jewel in the Crown, once perched next to one you won’t want to move! Hence you can sit with a great English breakfast, Move onto lunch, with a coffee and cake in between and then you can dine in our restaurant area with table service. Come and try the atmosphere for yourselves and you’re sure to want to return time and time again! Our welcome is warm and inviting and service is top of our list, so come and put us to the test!
