So this is what Greene King have to say on the Pub:
The Four Horseshoes is a charming 12th century inn situated in the beautiful Suffolk village of Thornham Magna. An abundance of fascinating features including an original and working wishing well located in the Shire restaurant, inglenook fireplaces and beams create the perfect atmosphere alongside superior service and standards.

The inn has 12 recently refurbished en-suite bedrooms offering all the comforts of modern living in a truly beautiful setting. Home cooked food is served during the day, with coffees and pastries offered from early morning. The non smoking Shire restaurant offers both an a la carte menu or simple and tasty bar menu. The bar is stocked with an extensive selection of wines from around the world which, are served alongside a selection of quality cask ales and lagers. The enclosed garden and patio area is ideal for families or those that wish to enjoy a spot of al fresco dining.

The garden room offers a intimate setting for weddings of up to 30, private dinner parties or conference and business facilities, with its own patio in the summer or a huge log fire in the winter the room is perfect for all occasions. The inn, which has a wedding licence is ideal for an intimate ceremony. Ample car parking is also available.

This is an awesome pub - I love it and I know that you will too. The pub has a very welcoming atmosphere and the staff and very friendly indeed. Tom, Mark & Marion, the owners, know their stuff and very importantly know their beer! The ales are well cared for and tended as one would expect! The food is fantastic, all local and homemade to order. I can fully recommend the Sunday Carvery and the main menu too. Lunch menu also very good value for money. Lots of great beers, mainly Greene King but others too and guest ales from time to time. I spend many a happy day here and infact, off there now! Maybe see you there on day? Come along!
