Duke of York, Tunbridge Wells
FancyaPint?'s review...
The Duke of York is a small, but perfectly formed, traditional pub, in the heart of Tunbridge Wells' top local tourist attraction, the Pantiles. As a result, in summer it can get pretty crowded, but there's plenty of space outside and somehow the pub seems to take it all in its stride. Off season, it's a lot less crowded, but still a favourite meeting-up place for locals out for the evening. There are decent ales on the hand pumps - Bass, Harvey's and Abbot, last time we were in - and the service prompt and friendly. All-in-all a pretty good town centre boozer.
