Went with friends with kids for Sunday lunch. Absolutely fab!! Best roast beef I have had for a very long time. Kids were made welcome and enjoyed playing in the garden on play fort.I enjoyed a few pints of Sharps Doombar which was excellent and my wife raved about the house Pinot Grigio (she drinks enough of it!). Interior has been re done fairly recently and full of character with a contemporary twist. Great fireplaces where aparantley they have roaring fires all winter long. Saw they did rooms and asked to see one, really nice character good quality room with big shower, may stay and make an event of it. Without doubt one of the best pub/restaurants in area. Noticed a pizza and pasta restaurant next door that is also part of things which looked great. All in all a very pretty and interesting village, beautiful church and brill pub. Will return soon!!
