All the right elements are here: a riverside location, a decent choice of drinks and - we noted approvingly when visiting on an afternoon in the middle of the week - the right sort of atmosphere to appeal to people who don't work nine to five jobs. Nor were they all students or unemployable types. It's a nice example of a pub that should appeal to a broad range of people, without perhaps being spectacular.
