Trevor Arms Hotel, wrexham
FancyaPint?'s review...
Good pub - great staff and the homemade food is very good and the beer, though limited in scope (would be good to see some local brews rather than Caledonian only) were also served well. But there was just something stopping a higher mark - and it wasn't the Billy Joel on the music system. I think it is the quite shameless spotlight on the food which for a drive-to venue is understandable, but out of food times means it's a bit lacking in atmosphere.
But please don't think this is anything other than a good pub and worth visiting.
