British Library
The British Library is the central repository of books and printed media in the UK. It holds 14 million books, 920,000 journal and newspaper titles, 58 million patents, 3 million sound recordings. The British Library gets a copy of every publication produced in the UK and Ireland. The collection includes well over 150 million items, in most known languages. The library also holds many treasures from the Magna Carta to Beatles manuscripts.
Pubs are listed by their pint rating (highest first) and then in alphabetical order - the better pubs (in our opinion) appear at the top of the list.
