The Stags is my local and has thankfully just been revamped, and is under new management. Its still focused on being a foodie pub, but they’ve started specialising in fish dishes - they even put on paella nights for groups. The lighting has been sorted out so its a lot more intimate and relaxed in the evening (those old lights were way to bright). Overall, its a much better place now and the staff are really friendly.
