RIP: Parker Place

"This pub is one of those places that doesn’t seem to be able to settle down, once a Firkin, it’s now trying to create a bar atmosphere, following a couple of other incarnations. Apart from the candles on the tables, we can’t say a hell of a lot about the place as, on our last visit, they’d almost completely run out of beer. Not the sign of a bright and prosperous future, in our opinion."
