What you think of the pubs

The Apollo

Our final review:
“Although this place doesn’t seem entirely sure of the market it’s aiming for, it’s certainly a step up from it’s previous incarnation. It’s a sort of cross between an All Bar One and a real ale pub. The beer is good and the service is polite, prompt and friendly. On our last visit, though, it seems to have settled in and picked up a regular clientele, so they know why they’re there, which is good. It’s not a bad place and certainly better than some of the “trendier” places in the area. It’s also seems to be less crowded than the pubs nearer the station.”

So, what’s become of it?

This one’s all boarded up - and has been for some time. It doesn’t look like it’s coming back.
