And the winners are… Fancyapint Best London Pubs Awards announced
Last night (Tuesday 27 October) saw the Fancyapint.com Best London Pub awards for 2009, held at the Lord Clyde in Highbury.
This year – the sixth year of awards – there were thirteen winning pubs in two categories: the reviewers’ awards and visitors’ awards.
In each category there is an overall winner – in 2009 the overall winner of the Reviewers’ Award is the Lord Clyde (342 Essex Road, N1 3PB) and the overall Visitor’s Award goes to the Jerusalem Tavern (55 Britton Street).
This year, to celebrate the sixth anniversary of the Fancyapint.com awards and the 10th anniversary as a website, the reviewers made a special award to their top London pub of the last decade. The Special Award winner is the Colton Arms (187 Greyhound Road, W14 9SD).
