In the wild, bright yellow usually signals poison and danger to potential consumers; at the Crown and Cushion, it tells you that you've hit an Irish pub. Inside, too, the walls are covered with Irish ephemera (road signs, tankards etc.). This is a decent pub, though, with good draught beer (Old Speckled Hen, imported lagers) and a relaxed vibe. There's a variety of mains to be had for around 5, with sandwiches at just 2.80, so it's pretty good value. Worth a look if you're nearby.

was in this pub on Sunday 15/03/2009.the john smiths Cold was good and the Thai food was delicious.Two TV's on the go showing two different games was a bit off putting,but the crowd,mostly locals I reckon,seemed a decent bunch.All in all not an unpleasant experience.
