Orange Brewery, Belgravia  

With the once competent microbrewery long gone, it's been a few years since we last popped in here. Sadly, our return visit finds the place is looking a little rough around the edges these days, with the restaurant section conspicuous by its absence. Still, it was comfortably busy on our visit, with a good mix of regulars and notably friendly service. There's also an adequate range of cheap pub grub and a couple of ales on the pumps. Indeed there is nothing extraordinary about this place, save for its boozerishness being quite incongruous with the exclusive surrounding of pretty Orange Square. Although some TLC is needed sooner rather than later, we hope that doesn't necessarily mean another elitist bar/restaurant, along the lines of the nearby Ebury, will come in to replace it.
