picture of Lillie LangtryThis pub is a bit of a fixture of the area around West Brompton tube and beyond the odd lick of paint, hasn't changed in years. It's warm and friendly, with cheerful staff and a pretty comfortable local feel. And the locals aren't scary either, happily sharing their pub with one and all. There isn't any real ale on - two kinds of Guinness don't count - but it's still a great place to watch the sport and chill out of an afternoon. The chances are good it probably suffers the influxes of concert and conference attendees, but it's pretty reasonable otherwise.
