Turn left out of Mile End Station and walk back towards the City, under the bridge that takes the park over Mile End Road. You'll see the pub not far along on the right hand side of the road.

This pub and restaurant hasn't changed in the last few years we've been going there, and it still suffers being located just around the corner from Queen Mary & Westfield college. Last time we were there, it was a bit grim, but it has been trying to do better. The pub has a reasonable selection of beer, it's the clientele and practically deafening music which let it down.

You could say suffers from being round the corner from QMW (and it does) but its rubbish anyway and at least the proximity to QMW does mean you get some attractive girls in there sometimes which, given the nearet good pub is a good 10 minutes away (Palm Tree), means it is worth a shout for a couple of quick ones.
