how to find it:

Exit on to Oxford Street. cross to the north side of the street. Go up Marylebone Lane, then turn right along Henrietta Place. Take the second left and you are on Wimpole Street. The pub is on your left.

picture of ToucanLess well known than its sister pub in Soho Square and opposite Guinness' offices in this part of town, this one is a bit of an oddity. Though it's within staggering distance from Oxford Street, apart from lunchtimes and immediately post-work it's usually pretty empty. Even if you're not a fan of the black stuff, an amiable barman, reasonably priced food and some interesting cocktails make it a pub worth a look.
