how to find it:

Leave the tube and head up Cambridge Heath Road. After a few mins' walk, when you get to the junction with Victoria Park Road, turn right and head along the road for a while. You'll see the pub on your right.

It has recently been refurbished and now does big screen sport pretty well and offers an average range of (Bass oriented) fayre- it doesn't have much else to offer. However, when the park is full on a bank holiday,this pub is not one of the ones that gets packed with the bank holiday makers. Solid and reliable.
