how to find it:

Come out of the tube and head for the WH Smiths toward the main exit, leave the station and keep heading left, following the path round toward the main road. The pub should be in front of you.

Once called the Head of Steam, the Doric Arch has settled down over the last year or so to be as solid a pub as its predecessor ever was. The refit was on the benign side of things, and even though the owners changed (this one's now run by Fuller's) the reliance on guest beers remained. Also, the old pub's railway memorabilia remains (even if it does appear to have been slightly rearranged). Always a beery, blokey sort of place, the Doric Arch is still a safe bet should thirst get the better of you whilst you're waiting at Euston Station.
