picture of Exmouth Arms
This one's close to Euston Station, but as there's a couple of other pubs which are nearer, the Exmouth is a better bet if you're actually after a seat. Its neighbouring pubs may offer better selections of beer and even interiors refitted to chime with 21st century tastes, but the traditional feel of the Exmouth does the job for us. A smell of chips pervades during the daytime, and the only change in recent years has been the introduction of a MP3 jukebox (which - perhaps surprisingly - doesn't through up the random oddities the old one used to do). This one will never feature in any lists of up-and-coming waterholes of the capital, but as a straight down the line boozer, it certainly does the job.
