how to find it:

From Wimbledon tube, turn right and walk up Wimbledon Hill Road, and carry on when it becomes Wimbledon High Street. At the Common, turn left and follow the south side of the Common until the turning on your right down Crooked Billet. From Wimbledon tube, it's about a 15-20 min walk.

Smart and stylish Young's house that has the feel of an upmarket country pub, and has the clientele to match. It's certainly worth popping into if you're in the area, being cosy enough in the winter and popular in the summer. It's ideal if you like your pubs to come with a pricey menu, and it's the only pub we've ever been in to show windsurfing on its TV. A good pub then, just one we didn't totally warm to.
