Don't get out here often, but love it whenever I do. Brilliant pub!posted by M2S - Sunday 8th November, 2009, 3:49pm
I agree with the last review. I love The Gun! It's a fantastic pub. Great for being outside in the summer, or inside with the fireplaces in winter. One of my absolute favourites.posted by Dora - Friday 11th July, 2008, 4:05pm
Well... I couldn't disagree more.
I love The Gun
With probably the best river views in London and polite, attentive service I have never had a quibble and I have been to The Gun ALOT!
I love sitting out on the terrace enjoying a glass of wine with friends and I am so pleased that the Portuguese grill A Grehla is now open, when the sun shines of course.
I will be back again and again and recommend it to many.posted by Expat1 - Thursday 15th May, 2008, 5:50pm
Great view of the O2 from the balcony. Food was excellent, although there were mixed reviews of the crab starter. Nice beer selection too.
Service was appalling. Made the mistake of ordering drinks from the table, sat for half an hour without receiving any (only for 5 drinks). Getting food order taken took far too long, even paying the bill was a painful wait for service. Staff complained of how busy it was, but in truth it was a midweek evening and the place was about 3/4 full. I'd hate to be hungry (or thirsty) here when it's really busy. Probably wouldn't go back for that reason alone, it really was bad. Pity because it's a nice place otherwise.5 comments on this pub - why not add your own?
