how to find it:

The nearest train station tube is Richmond, but as Ham is a good 25-30 minute walk from there it's hardly close. Your best bet is probably to head to the river from Richmond tube then head left along the riverside or Petersham Road. Either that or get the foot ferry from Twickenham. Once in Ham, you'd best get the A-Z out.

Large countryish pub, with beer garden attached and an eye for the family and tourist markets. It doesn't exactly set the heather on fire, but it's probably you're best bet should you find yourselves in this part of the world. The garden at the back packs them in on warmer days and the decent food is worth a look too.
