Going by the selection on the pumps (Double Diamond, Tolly Cobbold ale) little has changed in this one since the early 1980s. Aside from the plasma screen TV there's few other signs of the 21st century. A traditional little boozer then, and one that picks up a clientele from both locals and hotel guests from the Travelodge over the road. Despite its old fashioned air, it's a decent one on a summer's day as the walls fold open to create an airy feel - pleasant, if you can ignore the fumes of the Kings Cross Road. A good local (particularly if you can cope with the charms of DD).
