The Strutton Arms is a standard looking chain pub situated at the head of the attractive Strutton Ground and its attached market. It's rather sports focused, with a number of screens and it's hard to escape it here when its on, although the back is probably the best bet if you're not a fan, while the seating along the right hand side wall is the most cosy The service was acceptable but pretty unenthusiastic especially considering the quietness at the time of our visit. We also thought perhaps there might be some recognition of its role in entertainment
history. But no; corporate posters for various drinks offers and sports events were the decoration here - probably in accordance with head office. Fine for a drink, we felt it was a pub with more than one missed opportunity.
