how to find it:
From East Putney tube, get on to the Upper Richmond Road and head toward Putney Hill. Cross that, and keep going for another 10 mins. An easier way is from Putney BR station: exit and turn left up the hill. Cross the road and take the first on your right down Upper Richmond Road. The pub is about a 10 minute walk away.

With a name like that we were expecting a Bedouin style interior and a hookah pipe at each table. Or at least an elderly roue in the corner recounting his exploits in the fleshpots of Marrakech. On first impressions then, we were a tad disappointed with what the pub is - a rather small Greene King house, plastered with wall-bracketed TVs offering no escape if the football's on. Saying that, the punters looked a happy bunch and 4.95 for a Sunday roast is a bargain (especially in Putney). It's a bit off the beaten track, but a good one if Sunday means a pint, a roast and Sky Sports
