Replacing The King of Corsica - a rather rough and ready boozer in Berwick Street Market - is this modern take on the pub experience. Even though it was a bit of a rough house, the old pub had a certain something. The old clientele has moved on to a new regular now, as this one is clearly aimed at a younger and trendier crowd. Smart and plush inside, it's worth noting that food is only served until 6pm. Once the plates get cleared away, attention shifts to the excellent jukebox - quite arguably the best in Soho. An above average venue for this neck of the woods, it's just slightly odd that this self-styled 'traditional fish and game pub restaurant' is sited so close to most of Soho's strip joints - are they due for a Wallpaper style makeover too?
