This pub definitely lacks character but I decided to give it a chance being that there aren't many choices in the area and I just moved to the neighborhood. Unfortunately, was not impressed at all, expecially by rude service. Don't be fooled by the Wifi access, alhtough they offer it, they don't really want customers using it. Although I would love to sit in their back garden, I probably won't come back here again.posted by AWF - Tuesday 3rd July, 2007, 12:05pm
I think the Lion is a great pub, good mix of people for every corner of the planet and great service from the bar staff, I have even requested Wi-Fi access from the manager 'Mark' and he had it installed within 2 weeks. Also it's not just a blokes pub there must be at least 30% of the clients who are female which gives it a much better atmosphere then most of the pubs I have used. Food's good and the smoking area has been well prepared.2 comments on this pub - why not add your own?
